Seems totally crazy to say I'm thankful for RICE! But today, that is what I'm grateful for. Jacob dropped his iTouch (which is my old iPhone 4) into the toilet on Friday night. Only problem was he didn't tell Jeff or I about it. I was in Bountiful at a parents meeting with Tyler and Jeff had put Miya and Jacob to bed before I had gotten home. When I got home Jeff said Jacob's iTouch was being weird, that the flashlight kept coming on and off. So we began messing with it trying to turn it off, play with apps, trying to figure out what was wrong. I took a look at it the back of it and noticed the camera had condensation on it, so I took the cover off and discovered a lot of water on it. I dried it off as best I could, then put it in a baggie with rice. I was pretty doubtful it was going to work because of all the playing with it Jeff and I had done. But it worked! I left it setting there for over 24 hours, all the water dried off on the camera. I plugged it in to charge and the thing works perfect!
